From the supplier: Activist federal judges who abuse the public trust should be impeached. Congress would need to set a standard for such impeachments, but this change clearly would work to prevent judicial overreaching. Term limits might not be a practical solution to judicial activism, but shame and public chastisement could act as effective checks when employed by other elected officials.
